Arsenal have been handed a massive boost after Juventus ended their interest in star man Alexis Sanchez.

Juventus have been on the lookout for a new forward after Real Madrid exercised Alvaro Morata's buy-back clause, and Sanchez was rumoured to be on the top of the Serie A champions' list of potential replacements.

However, according to reports, Juventus have now ended their interest in the Chile international.

Arsenal fans will welcome such news after years of having their best players poached from them.

Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie and Samir Nasri have all left the club in the past in search for domestic titles.

But times have since changed at the Emirates with Arsene Wenger spending £30m plus on the likes of Mesut Ozil and new boy Granit Xhaka while winning the FA Cup twice in the process.

And now the club's unwillingness to sell one of their key players in Sanchez further shows Wenger's determination to get Arsenal seriously challenging on all fronts again.

With Sanchez off the market Juventus have turned their attention elsewhere and, according to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio ,The Old Lady will now make a move for Bayer Leverkusen's Javier Hernandez.

The former Manchester United forward struggled during a loan spell at Real Madrid but has been in fine form since moving to Bayer Leverkusen on a permanent deal last summer.

And now it seems Juventus see the Mexico international as an alternative to Sanchez.

Despite Morata making a return back to Real Madrid, Juventus still have Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Simone Zaza as forward options.
