Ghana Premier League outfit, Karela United has signed goalkeeper Yaw Ansah to bolster its squad for the upcoming football season.

The club in the 2019/2021 football season struggled to compete with the top-flight leagues.

Out of the 15 matches the Anyinase-based club played before the season was suspended and subsequently canceled, they only won 2 and sat 17th on the standings of the division.

Determined to turn things around, Karela United has decided to bring in reinforcements. Following the signing of attackers and midfielders, the club has this evening announced the capture of goalkeeper Yaw Ansah.

“We welcome Yaw Ansah formerly of Medeama SC to the Pride and Passion Club...

“New season, New beginnings”, a statement on the Twitter page of Karela United has said.

The goalkeeper is expected to give coach Evans Adotey’s squad a massive squad boost ahead of the start of the new season which will kick off on the weekend of November 13-15.
