Kasim Gokyildiz has parted ways with Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal and has returned to his country, Turkey.

Coach Gökyildiz joined the relegation-threatened club in March ahead of the second half of the 2020/21 season replacing Nana Andy Sinasson.

King Faisal are battling relegation and are currently 17th on the league table with 29 points after 28 matches played.

In a statement on his Facebook page, the Turkish trainer thanked the club for offering him the opportunity to serve them in Ghana’s top flight.

"Hello dear football fans, my time as head coach at King Faisal is over. In fact of two important circumstances I terminated my contract on the 31st of May."

"Yesterday the 8th of June I took the flight back to Turkey. Thank you King Faisal for the opportunity to serve you," parts of the statement read.

"I will like to thank my players, and technical staff for the good cooperation. I will also like to thank all the real football fans for their support, those who love football and see it as sport and not anything else."
