Kasim Nuhu injured in Fortuna Dusseldorf 6-0 friendly win

Black Stars defender Kasim Nuhu suffered an injury in Fortuna Dusseldorf’s 6-0 win over lower-tier side TSV Meerbusch in a friendly game on Tuesday afternoon.

In his usual elements, Nuhu held the backline of his club till he was unable to finish the first half after picking up a knock. German youngster Enrique Lofolomo came on to replace the Ghanaian defender.

The player will undergo further tests to determine the seriousness of the injury.

The player could miss Sunday’s Bundesliga clash against Eintracht Frankfurt if he has to take days off to recover from the injury.

He joined the side on a season-long loan deal from fellow Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim this summer.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian player, Bernard Tekpetey was on target whiles Kelvin Ofori bagged a brace in the friendly match against TSV Meerbusch.
