President of Turkish topflight side Kayserispor, Eroll Bedir has hailed the role of Ghana Captain Asamoah Gyan at the Club.

Gyan, despite struggling with injuries has managed to score a couple of goals that has kept the club in the Turkish Cup.

Having signed from Chinese club Shanghai SIPG, there was huge expectation on the Ghana Captain but with limited play time, he has found the back of the net twice and in important games.

President of the club Mr. Eroll Bedir was full of praise for the Ghanaian.

"Asamoah Gyan played in two Cup matches and scored two goals that carried us on. In Fenerbahce, he came on from the bench in the last minutes of the game and did his job," Bedir told the Turkish media.

"He did not start the preseason camping with the team because he was with the national team and was not physically ready so he had a slow preparation for the season.

"Gyan is a great character who is always willing to hit the summit and with his recent performance, we will talk more about Gyan in the coming weeks," he added.

Gyan picked up a knock in preparation for the World Cup qualifier against Egypt but could not recover in time for the game on Sunday. The Black were held to a 1-1 draw.
