Ghanaian international, Kelvin Ofori has indicated his eagerness to mark his debut for German Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The teenage sensation signed his first professional contract last week with the Fligeraners after impressing on trials. The 18-year-old has signed a three-year deal that will see him stay with the club until 2022.
Ahead of the start of the Bundesliga season next week, the player has shared that he cannot wait to play his first match for the club.
“As a young player, I want to learn a lot and develop myself step by step, but I cannot wait to play in this great stadium and in front of the enthusiastic fans”, he told the club's website.
Kelvin Ofori is one of four Ghanaians that have joined Fortuna Dusseldorf in the summer transfer. He joins compatriots Bernard Tekpetey, Nana Opoku Ampomah, and Kasim Nuhu.
The four could be given starting roles for Dusseldorf next week when they open the season with Werder Bremen.
