Kevin-Prince Boateng: I left Eintracht Frankfurt because of Niko Kovac's departure

Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng has been explaining why he left German side Eintracht Franfurt after just as season.

According to Boateng who now plays at Italian side Sassuolo, he left the German side because of the departure of head coach Niko Kovac.

"One big reason why I left Eintracht Frankfurt was because Niko Kovac left. I joined the club because of him," Boateng told Bild.

Niko Kovac left for Bayern Munich and Kevin followed suit by signing for Italian top-flight side Sassuolo.
