Ghana midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has terminated his contract with Spanish top-flight side Las Palmas.

The shocking contract termination comes just three months after signing an extension following a successful season.

Reports in Spain indicate, Boateng handed in the request to end his relationship with the club on Wednesday morning.

The La Liga side have agreed and what it means is that the 30-year-old will be looking elsewhere with just two weeks left for the transfer window to close.

The reasons for the termination of the contract are sketchy and it comes as a surprise as he only agreed an extension just three months ago.

There are reports in Germany stating, Kevin-Prince who is now a free agent is expected to sign for German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
