King Faisal beat New Edubiase United to annex maiden Hakiyba International Cup

Premier League side, King Faisal defeated New Edubiase United 3-1 to win the maiden edition of the Hakiyba International trophy on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Goals from Sam Ortiz, Adu Boahene and Nazir Musah propel the Insha Allah boys to a comfortable win on the night.

Yussif Bawura got a late consolation for the Division One League side.

King Faisal broke the deadlock through Sam Ortiz's strike.

New Edubiase came back from the break looking more purposeful searching for the equalizer.

King Faisal were reduced to 10 men after Kwadwo Frimpong was given his marching orders but substitute Adu Boahene scored from 30 yard to double King Faisal lead.

Musah Nazir made it 3-0 for the Premier League side few minutes later tapping home a cross from Faisal Musah.

Yussif Bawura grabbed a late consolation for New Edubiase United with a good finish in the penalty box.

King Faisal who won the contest are expected to tour Germany, Belgium and France for a 14-day period to compete against top clubs in these countries.
