King Faisal coach Nurudeen Amadu disagrees with Alhaji Grusah on Ghana Premier League title ambitions

King Faisal coach Nurudeen Amadu has doubts about the club chances of winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.

The Isha Allah boys on Sunday went to the summit of the table following an impressive 3-2 victory against Kotoko in the Kumasi derby.

The Porcupine Warriors had not tasted defeat and conceded just one goal coming into the clash but forward Zubairu Ibrahim scored a superb hat-trick.

The bankroller of King Faisal Alhaji Grusah boastfully claimed his side will be crowned Ghana Premier League champions for the first time this season but his coach Nurudeen Amadu thinks otherwise.

Speaking after the game, he said, “My target is that, last year we struggled, so this year if he wants the league, I have a different target. At the end of the season, the team should be placed on a respectable position and I am done”

“If he wants the league and feel he has the financial muscle to go to Africa that beholds on him but me as a coach, I don’t want to sit on tones at the end of the season or last three matches you cannot sleep and all those things”

“But if he wants the league that is his view, he should look for money and run and go to Africa” he said.
