The 21-year-old has become a subject of interest for several Ghana Premier League clubs due to his swashbuckling performance in the just-ended season.

Yahaya scored three goals in 33 appearances in the 2022/23 top-flight and also put up a spirited performance to help his outfit reach the finals of the FA Cup.

According to reports, talks are far advanced between Kotoko and the player’s representative over a possible move in this window.

It is said Kotoko are 80% through in their bid to secure the services of the young Ghanaian midfielder.

At the moment, King Faisal have been relegated from the Ghanaian top-flight but the club stands a chance of maintaining their status should they win their protest against Tamale City.

King Faisal will take on Dreams FC in the final of the 2022/23 FA Cup competition.
