The Spokesperson of King Faisal, Awal Mohammed has heaped praise on the performance of referee Isaac Osei despite his side's 5-1 defeat to Ashanti Gold SC in an outstanding match on Wednesday.
Ashgold thrashed the Kumasi-based side in the Ghana Premier League at the Len Clay Stadium to pick their second win of the campaign.
After the game centre referee Isaac Osei has received huge plaudits from the opposition despite that embarrassing scoreline where they believe he had nothing wrong with any of his calls in the game.
Awal Mohammed applauded the referee stating he did a spectacular job and all his decisions were legitimate.
"The referee did very well today. I must say that the level of officiating was very good."
"The referee was on top of the game throughout the 90 minutes," he told Footballmadeinghana.com.
"Although we lost 5-1, none of the goals could be blamed on officiating. The referee awarded us a legitimate penalty of which you don’t normally get in away matches.
He added, "I must say this is one of the best officiating I’ve seen in the league so far."
King Faisal will host Hearts of Oak next in Techiman on Saturday on match day six of the Ghana Premier League.
