Kofi Bentil, the Vice president of policy think tank IMANI Africa, is skeptical about NDC's promise to pay Ghana Premier League players at least GHS 1500.
The NDC made the promise recently in the bid to earn the votes of the sports stakeholders.
Bentil was not impressed with this and stated that they should start paying private workers too if that is the case.
"If you pay footballers to play football, there's no reason you should not pay the staff of my private company," he stated on his social media account.
The Ghana Premier League is yet to return after its cancellation in June this year.
