Konadu Yiadom delighted with debut goal to save Hearts of Oak from defeat

Hearts of Oak new signing Konadu Yiadom is over the moon after scoring his first goal for the new club.

The former WAFA SC defender started for the Phobians on Sunday afternoon when the team locked horns with Great Olympic in the Ghana Premier League.

In a game that produced a fantastic contest, Konadu Yiadom scored with a good effort in the 88th minute to draw level for Hearst of Oak.

Speaking after the game, the centre-back says he is excited about the goal for his new club.

"Great atmosphere…Happy for my debut goal but we believe we could have done better. Thank you for the love. keep believing in us,” the youngster shared after the 1-1 draw with Great Olympics.

Up next for Hearts of Oak, the team will take on eternal rivals Asante Kotoko on matchday three.

Konadu Yiadom will start that game if he stays fit throughout the week in training.
