The head coach for Hearts of Oak, Kosta Papic has rubbished reports suggesting that he has no contract with the Ghanaian giants.
The management of the Phobians in December 2020 announced that they have re-appointed the Serbian tactician to take up the role as the head of the technical team.
This week, widespread speculations have suggested that Kosta Papic has been working without a contract with Hearts of Oak.
While some portals have reported that he could leave the club in the coming days, the gaffer has in an interview with Kumasi FM set the record straight.
According to him, the rumours are false because he has a two-year contract with Hearts of oak.
“It is big nonsense for anyone to claim that I’ve not signed a contract with Hearts of oak. I have a two-year contract with Hearts of Oak.
“I do not know where all these rumours are coming from but what I can say is that we are focused,” he said in the interview.
Under the guidance of coach Kosta Papic, Hearts of Oak has made massive strides and currently sits fourth on the Ghana Premier League standings.
