Asante Kotoko assistant coach Godwin Ablordey lashed out at a sports journalist for describing his team’s play against Ebusua Dwarfs as “disgraceful”. On Wednesday Kotoko were beaten 4-1 by Ebusua Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast in a Ghana Premier League encounter.
The defeat to the Porcupine Warriors was their biggest loss this season as they have been slammed for the poor output.
“That is how you saw the game but I don’t want you to use that word “disgraceful” performance from my players, it is very bad,” he said
“At least you can say that we didn’t perform well and that is football , there are days you will have a good day and bad day as well.
“So you can’t say we played a disgraceful game, I won’t allow you to use certain words to describe our play today.”
