A member of Kotoko's new board, Mr. Joseph Yaw Obeng has revealed that he is working to get new equipment for the secretariat of the Ghana Premier League record holders.

The former Director of Sports at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) started work at the Secretariat of the Porcupine Warriors last week in the capacity as the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Having interacted with workers, Mr, Joseph Yaw Adu says it is clear they need new and modern equipment to work. He is hence in talks with the rest of the board to secure new equipment for the secretariat.

“The staff are also telling me most of the machines that they are using are not in good shape and they are not serviceable. So I have requested that they put all this requested together so that I forward it to the board for us to acquire new machines to run the club because we are in a modern world", he said in an interview with the Kotoko Express.

He added, “It is not like the olden days, we have to go high tech. We need all these things so I will recommend and request the board to assist in acquiring all these things for the running of the office”.
