Kotoko CEO back Kotoko and Hearts to take over Ghana football

Mr George Amoako, the Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, believes the two biggest clubs lost superpowers over the country's football to the 'smaller' clubs and has back them to take over Ghana football.

The newly appointed CEO made this remarks at the launch of the clash between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

"The purpose of organising the two matches is to put the two teams together again."

"We need to come together and take over the commanding height of Ghana football," George Amoako told the media.

"At this stage, we're going into serious reforms trying to put things right in the game."

"And I believe Kotoko and Hearts should be in the forefront of whatsoever changes that will happen," he added.

His comments come amid the ongoing reforms of football.
