Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Mr. George Amoako has heaped praises on manager Kjetil Zachariassen following the team’s away performance against Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League.
The Ghanaian club locked horns with the Nigerian giants last Saturday for the first leg of their encounter in the preliminary stage of the top-tier inter-club competition organized by CAF.
Though the Porcupine Warriors managed to score two important away goals, they disappointingly lost narrowly by three goals to two at the end of 90 minutes.
Speaking in a recent interview after returning to Ghana, Georg Amoako has emphasized on the abilities of Kjetil Zachariassen whiles indicating that the Norwegian tactician knows what he is about.
“When he take us through the game he was going to play, he had three different formations that he was going to play at any giving time depending on the circumstance to get this scoreline”.
“He used all the three to get this result. He knows what he is about”, the Kotoko CEO said.
The second leg encounter is scheduled for Friday, August 23, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
