Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah makes passionate appeal to fans ahead of final GPL games

Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has apologised to fans for the poor performance of the team this season.

In the last four matches of the Ghana Premier League season, the club CEO wants fans to support the team for a strong finish to the campaign.

“I will thank Kotoko fans for the support thus far, without them we wouldn’t have been where we are. We are sorry for the disappointment this season. Regardless of everything, we need their support because a friend in need is a friend indeed. We will plead with them to have patience with us and the players. It is painful,” Nana Yaw Amponsah said in an interview with Oyerepa FM on Wednesday.

Asante Kotoko this season have been very inconsistent.

After playing 30 matches, the Porcupine Warriors are 6th on the Ghana Premier League table with 44 points.

To stand any chance of winning the league title, the Reds must win all four remaining league matches.
