Kotoko Chief Dr. Kyei expects players to bounce back strongly against Bolga All Stars

Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Dr. Kwame Kyei has asked the players of the club to bounce back from the defeat to West Africa Football Academy and ‘make the fans happy” on Sunday when they play Bolga All Stars.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko were beaten 2-0 by the Academy boys in Sogakope on Wednesday. Prince Ampem and Daniel Lomotey scored for WAFA.

However, Dr. Kwame Kyei has asked the players to pick themselves up and prepare for Sunday’s home game against Bolga All Stars.

”Don’t give up but rather make the fans happy on Sunday against Bolga All Stars,” he told the players after the defeat to WAFA.

”We’re all in this together and I hope you bounce back and beat Bolga All Stars Sunday in Kumasi to make the fans happy.”

The Porcupine Warriors have endured an extremely difficult season following the team bus accident last month and the club’s inconsistent form in the league.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Saddick Adams missed Wednesday’s game but he is set to return for the Bolga All Stars clash.

The Ghana Premier League resumes after a month break this weekend. The break was to afford the local Black Stars prepare for the CHAN and WAFU tournaments.
