Asante Kotoko coach Frimpong Manso says he was impressed with the performance of his players despite their heavy defeat to Hearts of Oak on Monday.

Hearts finished off Asante Kotoko 3-1 at the Accra Stadium in a Ghana at 60 independence day game.

Coach Manso who is yet to win a game since taking charge of the team says the result was not a true reflection of the game.

“I was impressed with our performance, but the results I will say was not good. For us to lose by this score line is not a good one for us,” he told the media.

“I think the score line is a little bit deceptive and I don’t think any Kotoko fan will be happy.”
