Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariassen packed out of Asokwa residence before FC San Pedro return leg

Unconfirmed report coming in indicates that Asante Kotoko head coach Kjetil Zachariassen packed out of his residence at Asokwa before the team traveled to Cote d’Ivoire to play FC San Pedro last weekend.

The Norwegian gaffer is currently facing the sack after staying behind in Abidjan following the 2-0 defeat the Porcupine Warriors suffered in the CAF Confederations Cup against San Pedro.

Though Kotoko admits to asking the coach not to travel with the team to Ghana due to the fact that his safety could not be guaranteed as a result of a protest by some irate supporters which asked for his immediate sacking, they have given him up to Friday to report to for duty or consider himself axed.

While the back and forth between the management of the Ghanaian giants and the agent of Kjetil Zachariassen continues, the latest twits indicate that the coach packed out of his house before leading the team traveled to Abidjan last weekend.

It is however unclear why such a step will be taken but ongoing speculating is that he might have done so as a contingency plan in case the CAF Confederations Cup game didn’t go in favour of Kotoko.
