Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Croatian Coach Zdravko Lugarisic has described his 3-5-2 to formation as the best for the club.
The Porcupine Warriors have seen a significant change in their tactical formation since the appointment of Coach Zdravko Lugarisic. A system, that hasn’t gone down well with some of the fans with a former coach of the club Abdul Karim Zito coming out to criticize their style of play.
However, the Croat believes he is getting the results from his tactical formation saying it is the best at the moment.
“I think it is the best formation we can use now, I consider the players I have, when I came the key striker Dauda Mohammed was not around. So I just have to develop a new plan and this one is working for us, I am ok with the formation and it is working for us,” he told Accra based radio station Kasapa FM.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko are joint top of the table with Aduana Stars losig only a game to arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Reds will be at home for their week 9 fixture against Inter Allies.
