The head coach for Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu has expressed his delight at the progress of new signing Fabio Dos Santos Gama in training.
The Ghana Premier League record holders in October completed the signing of the Brazilian midfielder to strengthen their team for the 2020/2021 football season.
While his arrival in Ghana had to be delayed as a result of some paperwork issues, Fabio Gama managed to make the trip to link up with his Asante Kotoko teammates in November.
Despite training with the team for quite some time, he has not had the chance to feature in any game yet.
Giving an update on the player, Coach Maxwell Konadu says he will be ready to play very soon.
“He is now almost ready and I am impressed with the way he trains,” the Asante Kotoko coach said in a post-match interview after the win against Legon Cities FC on Friday evening.
