Asante Kotoko head coach Michael Osei has expressed delight at his side’s performance in their game against Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Kotoko drew one all with Hearts in the second round of the Super Clash after their recent slump in form.

The porcupine warriors took the lead through Kwame Boateng in the first half before Patrick Razak pulled level in the second half.

“I am not happy that we didn’t get all the three maximum points but I can say that I am hugely impressed with the standard of play this afternoon,” Osei said.

“Of course these are the two biggest sides in Ghana and I must accept that the level of play is great in this game,” he added.

Hearts of Oak still tops the Ghana Premier League with 38 points, five points more than their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko who are 5th on the table.
