Asante Kotoko interim coach Michael Osei fears recent poor officiating in the Ghana Premier League could cause havoc one day. Kotoko bounced back to winning ways on Sunday after defeating Dreams FC 1-0 courtesy a last-minute spot kick by captain Amos Frimpong.
Michael Osei’s comment comes after a journalist asked him at post match conference his personal assessment on the performance of center referee Nathan Anafo.
The referee awarded Kotoko what some journalists and spectators who watched the crucial game as a “dubious penalty”.
But the coach who declined to comment on the referee’s officiating said “Honestly I don’t want to comment on officiating today, personally I am one person who hardly comments about the performance of referees in during our matches”.
But when then journalist later said “But seriously if something is not than about it ,it won’t help our league Michael Osei jovially responded ”someone will die one day”.
