Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is defiant about the club chances of winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title despite recent struggle.

The Porcupine Warriors shared the spoils against Real Tamale United at the Baba Yara Stadium last Wednesday in matchday 8 of the domestic top-flight.

They are without a win in their last three games losing one and drawing two in the process.

But according to the former WAFA gaffer, the two-time African Champions chances of winning the league is still on track since there are a lot of games to be played.

"I wasn't frustrated. We played well, created chances but just that we failed to convert them. We are winless in our last three games because we don't take our chances and that is the problem now," he said.

"We didn't really miss any of the injured players' because we played well, if they were there it would have been good but we didn't miss them.

"Of course, our chances to win the league is still bright cos we have played only 8 games out of 34 so we have still got more to play," he added.

The Porcupine Warriors will lock horns with Legon Cities in matchday 9 of the Ghana Premier League.

They currently sit 3rd position with 14 points after 8 matches into the season.
