Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Steve Pollack admits he is satisfied with the level of progress at their preseason activities ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors played Benin side Baffle Du Bougou in a friendly on Thursday as part of preparations for the upcoming season,  game they won 1-0.

After the win, the English trainer indicated he was happy with the gradual transformation in play and tactics, adding the club will be ready for next seasons challenge.

“We enjoyed the game. I spoke to them before the game; to keep the ball and use their pace. Overall, I’m pleased and it’s going the right direction," Pollack said.

”Any international game is very difficult and they were strong in first 10-15 minutes of the game. The attitude of my boys was good even though they lost possession in some moment; they will be used to it. That’s why we play some of these games”

The Kumasi based club will represent Ghana at the CAF Confederations Cup next season, hence the reason for International friendlies.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will play Aduana Stars in the Super Cup on Sunday at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium, after a rigorous preseason, where they played in the GHALCA G8 tournament.
