The Ghana Premier League giants have been without a Technical Director for the past few years and are in the market to appoint one after recruiting experienced Coach Maxwell Konadu as the team’s new head coach in 2019.

While the search continues, a report coming in from Kumasi has indicated that former Ghanaian Olympic Athlete Oti Akenteng is the favorite to land the Kotoko Technical Director job.

Having worked as the technical director of the Ghana Football Association for more than a decade, the top hierarchy of the Porcupine Warriors club believes he has the expertise to occupy that position at the club.

Francis Oti Akenteng is currently unattached and is using the break from football as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis to take a rest.

Meanwhile, it is understood that former Black Queens head coach Bashir Hayford has set his eye of the technical director job at Kotoko.
