Asante Kotoko have decided to cut ties with Ampem Dacosta, his agent has confirmed.
Dacosta joined the Porcupine Warriors from Karela United some seasons prior on a three-year deal.
The centre-back, who was initially a key player of the side, struggled for playing time last season and sought a move away. He was linked with a transfer to Medeama SC but the move ultimately did not happen.
His agent confirmed the news during his interview with Fox FM.
“I have worked with Asante Kotoko since Opoku Nti’s time and I don’t have a problem if they are releasing Dacosta,” he said.
” We only urge Kotoko to pay every entitlements before the player leave the club but we have accepted their decision,” he concluded.
