Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has indicated that it will be best for the 2019/2020 season to be canceled.
The campaign which was started in December 2019 only lasted for 3 months and had to be put on hold in March due to the deadly Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.
According to Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, even though players are eager to get back on the pitch, it will be better if the football season is canceled and later synchronized with the European calendar.
"We are all hungry to step on the field and play football but for our good, canceling it would help matters for us to synchronize our league with the European calendar", the highly-rated defender told Light FM.
The former PHAR Rangers center-back has been one of Asante Kotoko's key players this season and has made as many as 12 appearances for the side, missing just 2 of their matches.
