Kotoko defender, Ismael Ganiyu says he is confident of victory ahead of his club CAF Confederations Cup game with Cameroonian giants Cotton Sports on Sunday.
The former Karela United defender has been a pillar at the back forming an impregnable partnership with Agyemang Badu.
The defensive anchor pointed out that they are well poised for the encounter and their aim is to get a win or draw.
"It’s going to be like other games but at a different level. We want to qualify for the money zone, we are going there with the target to win the game. Our worse should be a draw. ” Ganiyu told footballmadeinghana.com
“We want to return home with a victory. We want to return the club to where it belongs. We want to bring back the glory days," he added.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will face Cotton sports in Garoua on Sunday, January 13, 2018, before returning to Ghana for the second leg a week later.
