Asante Kotoko versatile defender Sheriff Mohammed has expressed his outfits desire to clinch the double this season.

The Porcupine Warriors has rediscovered their form after failing to win any of their first three games in the Ghana Premier League.

The record league holders achieved back-to-back victories, triumphing over Accra Lions with a 1-0 scoreline and beating Aduana Stars 1-0. Kalo Ouattara and Richmond Lamptey played crucial roles in securing these wins.

Speaking in an interview, the versatile player said it is their wish to win both Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup trophies.

“You see a good sign in the squad because we have so much quality but as they say, man proposes, God disposes, we pray God gives us our best fitness and win the FA Cup, win the Ghana Premier League and go to Africa and make our supporters proud” he said.

Asante Kotoko are now gearing up to face Nations FC in match week six.
