Kotoko get major boost in pursuit of two transfer targets - Reports

Asante Kotoko has received a significant boost in the current transfer window in their pursuit of two Ghana Premier League players, Shafui Mumuni and Emmanuel Keyekeh.

The duo is reported target of the Ghana Premier League giants who are looking to strengthen the side ahead of next season’s CAF Champions League and the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign which is scheduled to start in October

According to reports Shafiu Mumuni has rejected a contract extension offer from AshGold in a bid to push through a move to Kotoko.

Mumuni got noticed after emerging top scorer in last year’s WAFU tournament in Senegal with four goals.

He scored just once in four appearances for AshantiGold in the truncated Ghana Premier League.

Another player linked with a move to Asante Kotoko is 22-year-old Karela United midfielder, Emmanuel Keyekeh.

According to KickGh, the midfielder has already begun talks with Kotoko after rejecting a new deal from Karela United.

Keyekeh has been a key player for Karela United who look set to lose their star midfielder on a free transfer.
