Kotoko to hire a Technical adviser for Michael Osei

General Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Samuel Opoku Nti has revealed plans of hiring a technical director to aid the clubs league title pursuit.

Kotoko under the tutelage of interim coach Michael Osei managed to climb up the Ghana Premier League log from 16th position to 3rd position at a point but inconsistency in their latest results has seen the Porcupines in 4th place currently after 21 league matches.

The club parted ways with former coach David Duncan in the first round of the league due to poor results with Michael Osei taking over and pushing the team forward but management does not seem to be confident in his capabilities hence the decision to hire a technical adviser for Osei with 9 matches remaining.

Samuel Opoku Nti on Nhyira FM revealed management of Kotoko is thinking of hiring a Technical Adviser to help Michael Osei with the rest of the 9 matches.

“We are thinking about it, if it is necessary we will have to hire a technical director to help Michael. “We will sit with Michael and discuss it. The technical director will certainly be a Ghanaian not any foreigner.” he said. Kotoko will travel to New Edubiase on Wednesday with the hope of returning to winning ways after struggling to pick maximum points in their last four league matches.
