Insurance sponsors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Hollard Insurance Ghana interacted with the playing body, coaches and officials of the club at a lunch in Accra on Thursday afternoon as part of plans to enhance their business relations.

Kotoko and Hollard Insurance, formerly MET Insurance, signed a five-year partnership agreement last month for the latter to become the Porcupines' official insurance partner.

A contingent of the club is in Accra ahead of Saturday's Premier League encounter with Liberty Professionals and Hollard Insurance together with Impilo & BigCash Ghana Limited, brokers of the partnership used the chance to host the team at their plush office located at Airport Residential Area.

They treated the Porcupine family to a healthy buffet, interacted with the players, who they were meeting for the first time since the partnership was signed. There were memorable photographs in the end.

"We are excited to have the club here and that is why all of us are taking pictures all over" admitted the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hollard Insurance, Lynda Odro who was confident that the relationship between her outfit and Kotoko will be successful.

"The players have shown great passion and to have such passion means that you believe in what you are doing and wants to give it your all. That is what we are doing here at Hollard. We believe that this platform will go far".

Since the success story of the union is dependent on how many supporters the club can get to patronise Hollard's services, Lynda Odro charged the players to get good results in their games since that would win their fans over to the club and subsequently her outfit.

Representative for Impilo & BigCash Ghana Limited, Kwame Osei Bonsu said the agency, as part of the deal, would assist in financing of camping costs whenever Kotoko comes to the national capital to play. He encouraged the players to inform their friends and families of Hollard and insure them with the insurance company.

On his part, General Manager, Opoku Nti, told the players of the importance of insurance to footballers and advised them to take advantage of the packages Hollard had in stock.

Deputy captain, Eric Donkor and goalie, Felix Annan thanked their benefactors for the treat and promised that, the playing body would their best to get the fans to patronise their services.
