Former Asante Kotoko executive chairman Herbert Mensah has sent a clarion call to the club's new board of directors to make the club formidable and a benchmark in the country's football management.
Manhyia named a 12 member board of directors to give the club guidance for the next three years, with some clear goals set.
Speaking to local radio station Oyerepa FM he said
“To run Kotoko you must be able to put your hand in fire and not fear the flames,”
“Kotoko is too big to play second fiddle to any team,” he added
Board member Joseph Yaw Adu is to lead an Interim Management Committee before a substantive Chief Executive Officer is appointed.
