Legendary Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Stephen Oduro is set to leave the club after 16 years of dedicated service.
The 33-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements by the technical team of the Porcupine Warriors but will be offered a nanagement role at the club if he retires.
His exit is part of a clear-out at the club and happens after he was limited to a handful of appearances over what was a disappointing season for Kotoko.
The former Real Tamale United starlet is currently the longest serving player of the club and the club are hoping to reach a mutual agreement with him in order to avoid an acrimonious exit.
The former Black Satellites wonderkid, Oduro, joined the Porcupine Warriors lads from Real Tamale United in 1999.
