Kotoko line up international friendly with Ivorian side SO de l’ Armée

Ghana Premier League giant, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has lined up an international friendly match with Ivorian club Societe Omnisports De L' Armee as part of plans to help them prepare for their Africa campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors will be representing Ghana in the 2019/2020 CAF Champions League competition after emerging as the winners of the tier 1 of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition.

Ahead of the start of the competition next month, new head coach Kjetil Zachariassen has intensified preparations with his side and has already played one friendly with Rahimo FC which they won 2-1.

They are set to engage in another friendly before August comes around and has confirmed today that their opponent will be Societe Omnisports De L' Armee from Cote d’Ivoire.

The Match will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 and will kick off at 15:00GMT.

Kotoko will play Migerian side Kano Pillars in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League whules Societe Omnisports De L' Armee will be coming up against Mauritanian side FC Nouadhibou.
