The National Circles Council (NCC) of Asante has after a meeting with coach Maxwell Konadu managed to convince him to withdraw his case against the club at the Players Status Committee.

The former head coach for the Porcupine Warriors has dragged the club before the Players Status Committee of the GFA demanding for all unpaid entitlements following his sacking back in December 2020.

The move which has caused some sort of friction has seen Asante Kotoko also chasing coach Maxwell Konadu to return the car given to him during his time at the club.

In the last 24 hours in particular, all has not been well with reports in the media narrating how tension has boiled up between the two parties.

In a bid to help solve the situation, the NCC of Asante Kotoko has managed to reach a consensus with coach Maxwell Konadu to get him to withdraw the case from the GFA Status Committee.

According to Kumasi FM, The NCC has assured Maxwell Konadu that they will pay the difference between the amount he expects from the club and what he will actually be paid by Kotoko.

The NCC has also promised the management that they will also be ready to pay the amount accrued as "loss of use" should management continue to pursue that case.

Meanwhile, coach Maxwell Konadu has returned the car he was using when he was head coach for Asante Kotoko to the club.
