Kumasi Asante Kotoko has offered a contract extension deal to striker William Opoku Mensah to tie him down ahead of the upcoming football season.
The former Karela United forward was signed by the Porcupine Warriors club earlier this year to provide a squad boost for the side in the 2019/2020 football season.
Having signed just a 1-year contract, William Opoku Mensah has less than 6 months remaining on his contract before he becomes a free agent again.
In a bid to tie down the striker, officials of Asante Kotoko have already presented a new contract to the striker that will see him extending his stay if he decides to ink the dotted lines.
During the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, William Opoku Mensah had a decent spell before the campaign was suspended and subsequently canceled as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Out of the 8 appearances he made for the Porcupine Warriors, he chipped in with 2 goals and earned applause for his hard work for the team.
