All players and technical team members of Asante Kotoko will undergo Coronavirus (Covid-19) testing today as the team prepares to begin training this week.

Finally, after 6 months of inactive football, the sport is returning in the West African country following the lifting of restrictions by the President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Due to the new phenomenon, all clubs are expected to test players and officials for the deadly disease before group training commences.

Information gathered from a report by Opemsuo Radio has indicated that Asante Kotoko will have its playing body and technical team members undergoing testing for the Coronavirus today.

In line with that, most players reported to Kumasi over the weekend with the few others expected to arrive in the Ashanti Regional capital today.

They will all be tested for the disease and will have the chance to start official training on Wednesday when it is safe to do so.
