Players and officials of Asante Kotoko presented the FA Cup they won by beating Accra Hearts of Oak to their sponsors Goil at their head office in Cantonments, Accra.
The Club emerged winners of the competition after beating their rivals 3-1 in Tamale last month.
The players of the club and the management team sent the trophy to the owner and Bankroller of the club Otumfuor Osei Tutu before visiting their sponsors.
"Our clubs should be serious with the welfare of their players,that is the reason for our sponsorship package to Kotoko and Hearts".
"Our aim of sponsoring the two giants is to help them perform well in both local and International competitions. We nearly gave up because Kotoko and Hearts were not performing,but two Cups from Kotoko gives us hope".
"A Team like Kotoko should not only be happy with winning the FA and President Cups but rather go forward and take over Africa". Says the MD/Group CEO GOIL Patrick Akorli.
Kotoko will represent Ghana at the Confederations Cup next season, following their triumph in the FA Cup.
