Kotoko presents MTN FA Cup to Tamale chief

Kumasi Asante Kotoko presented the glittering MTN FA cup trophy to the Chief of Tamale after beating their rivals Accra Hearts of Oak to win the trophy on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors defeated their bitterest rivals 3-1 to lift the trophy for the ninth time.

Saddick Adams scored a first half hat-trick to condemn the Phobians before Thomas Abbey pulled one back for Accra Hearts of Oak.

Kotoko after winning the trophy in the final that was held in Tamale presented the trophy to the chief of Tamale as a gesture of appreciation for the warm reception given to them by the people of the Northern Region.

A contingent of players, technical members and management were at the Chief’s palace to present the trophy to Naa Dawuni Alhassan.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will represent Ghana at the CAF confederation Cup next season after emerging Champions of the MTN FA cup.
