Kotoko sign Emmanuel Sarkodie on a 3-year contract

Footballghana.com can report that Asante Kotoko has completed the signing of Asokwa Deportivo midfielder Emmanuel Sarkodie.

The Porcupine Warriors have battled for the signature of the highly-rated midfielder with rivals Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities FC.

After managing to convince the player to choose the Red colour, they have finalized a 3-year-contract with him.

Emmanuel Sarkodie was at the Secretariat of Asante Kotoko on Friday, March 27, 2020, and inked the dotted lines of the 3-year-contract.

According to President for division one club Nkoranza Warriors, Kuuku Bathels the player has joined the Porcupine Warriors even though Hearts of Oak were prepared to pay a bigger amount.

Confirming the transfer of the Asokwa Deportivo talisman, Mr. Bartels told Fox FM, “Yes the player has officially signed a 3- year contract for Kotoko”.

Sarkodie joins Kotoko with a lot of expectations following an outstanding start to the 2019/2020 Division One League season. He will join the playing body when they football activities in the country resume.
