Asante Kotoko have been fined an amount of GHC 5,000 for their supporters’ violent behaviour during their match-day 8 league game with Hearts of Oak.

Some Kotoko fans threw missiles onto the pitch in agitation of a penalty awarded to Hearts in the 82nd minute of the game.

The Disciplinary Committee after sitting on the matter has fined Asante Kotoko for the uncalled-for behaviour of their fans.

Hearts defeated Kotoko 1-0 courtesy a Vincent Atingah goal from the spot.
