Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Saddick Adams has returned to action after a month out following the concussion, he suffered in the return leg of the Ghana @60 game against Accra Hearts of Oak in Kumasi.

The striker enjoyed 45 minutes of actions in the club's International friendly against Benin side Buffles Du Borgue at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday.

The former Ghana youth international provided the assist for the only goal of the game. The 28 year old was excited to be back and wants to help the club win more laurels next season.

“I’m feeling good. It’s almost one and half month. Sometimes, when you go through [these times] and come back, you [there will be] fear," he told footballmadeinghana.com.

“I’m okay. I was able to play the first half without any problem. I was able to assist for the goal. I was happy with my performance.”

Meanwhile, the striker added he was happy with the link up play between him and strike partner Yakubu Mohammed, showering praises on the former Ashantigold forward.

“Footballers can have a bad season and a good season. I give credit to Yakubu; he doesn’t listen to the criticism that will affect his confidence. He showed it when he came in. We are praying for injury-free season to be able to play and help the team” he added.

The Porcupine Warriors will come up against Premier League Champions Aduana Stars in the Super Cup clash on Sunday at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Adams could be in line for a starting role following his return to fitness.
