Kotoko to host Hearts on Sunday in Ghana @60 return leg

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will look to continue with their dominance over Accra Hearts of Oak in 2017 by adding another trophy to their cabinet on Sunday as they welcome the Phobians in Kumasi.

Kotoko will be hosting Hearts in the second leg of the Ghana @60 match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Hearts lead the tie by 3-1 but have suffered back to back defeats to the Porcupine Warriors in recent months.

Accra Hearts of Oak lost the President Cup and the MTN FA cup in succession to the Porcupine Warriors costing them a place in the CAF Confederations Cup.

But the Phobinas have vowed to revenge the painful defeat in the FA Cup by beating the Porcupine Warriors on Dunday.

Both sides have began preparations ahead of the 2017/18 season which begins next year. Hearts are on the verge of signing former Kumasi Asante Kotoko right back Christopher Bonney and ex-New Edubiase winger Asideu Attorbrah.

Meanwhile, there have been several high profile departures at the Rainbow club with Kwame Kizito, who scored in the first leg and Vincent Atinga out of the club.

However, the Porcupine Warriors boosted by the victory in the FA Cup have signed defender Emmanuel Owusu from Nea Salamina and added Coach Akakpo Patron to their technical team.

The game is expected to be graced by the President of the country Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.

The game will start at 3 pm at the Baba Yara Sadium.
