Kotoko to miss Saddick Adams in GHALCA G8 opener

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will miss striker Saddick Adams for the GHALCA G8 opener against Techiman Eleven Wonders after failing to recover in time for the tournament.

The Club’s top scorer last season, suffered concussion in the Ghana @60 game against Accra Hearts of Oak and had to be rushed to the hospital.

He has since been discharged from the Komfo Anokye Hospital but according to information gathered by footballghana.com indicates the player will to undergo a review next week to determine where he is ready or not for the game.

Adams was instrumental for the club last season scoring a hat-trick in the final of the MTN FA Cup as Kotoko beat Accra Hearts of Oak to the trophy.

The former Berekum Chelsea forward finished the season with 10 goals despite joining in the second half of the season and will be a key part of the team that represents Ghana at the CAF Confederations Cup next season.
